A suspended field of tension where compressed textile mass meets a vast, patinated stillness.

In this large-scale composition, density gathers along a diagonal axis, forming a tectonic presence that presses against an open, atmospheric ground.

Reclaimed textiles — cut, compressed, and partially burned — are layered into a compact structure where softness is restrained into mass. The upper edge fractures, revealing openings carved by heat, while fragments detach and fall into the surrounding space.

The patinated surface, expansive and almost weightless, absorbs the intensity of the form, creating a controlled opposition between pressure and silence.

This work captures an early moment of transformation — where accumulation becomes structure, and structure begins to destabilize.
